Tip #1: Throw away expired products
Most skin care products have a shelf life of about one to two years. If a product is past its shelf life, it may not be as effective and may cause irritation or other problems. Bacteria can also grow, causing more skin irritation and breakouts. So, it’s time to throw away anything with an expiration date of 2021-2022. If you had anything from before 2021, now is definitely the time to throw it away!Ha ha
Tip #2: Listen to your skin
Your skin can actually tell you exactly which product you should invest in. Pay attention to changes in your skin: If you notice that a product no longer provides the same benefits as before, or if it causes irritation or other problems, that product is no longer effective. Maybe it’s time for something new. As we age gracefully, it’s important to discover new products that actually help our skin stay hydrated and smooth.
Tip #3: Buy new skin care products
This is my favorite tip. Because who doesn’t love adding new products to their collection? It’s always a good idea to try new skin care products to see if they improve your skin better. Be sure to introduce new products slowly and pay attention to how your skin reacts.
Pro Tip: Make sure not to combine certain skin care products with other skin care products on the same day. Some products don’t play well with other products.according to very cool, don’t want Mix retinol with vitamin C, benzoyl peroxide and AHA/BHA acids. It can cause skin irritation.
Tip #4: Research! Research! Research!
When replacing old skin care products, it’s a good idea to research the ingredients in them to make sure they are safe and effective. Not all products are suitable for everyone. What kind of skin texture do you have? Greasy? Dry? Combination? Discover the right products and routine for your skin!
